MR MAX

A few things about this boy...As of his first birthday, Max:

- stands up on his own (no steps yet)
- jumps in his bed
- poops in the bathtub without fail (we are working on switching to the toilet before it happens)
- Blows a raspberry on my tummy
- gives double hugs to Davey and I --he wraps an arm around each of our necks and pulls us in for a squeeze
- FINALLY gives his momma kisses
- loves drinking out of straws, but refuses to learn how to tilt his sippy cups and bottles up to drink out of     them
- likes to destroy any stacks or towers of anything --including newly folded laundry
- Races to the bathroom door as soon as he knows someone is in there and tries to get in
- kicks off any blankets you try to put on him
- has 8 teeth and more on the way
- can say dada and momma, and some sort of tikka word when he tickles you
- enjoys action movies best, but will sit through a chick flick with his mom
- can stand up, raise his arms, and yell a bunch of nonsense at you

Also, I've created a two headed monster--
 a) tickle monster: Max likes to wiggle his fingers on any bare skin (aka neck, arms, feet...) and tickle us. We laugh and smile even though his nails are usually quite scratchy.

b)Snuggle monster: This boy will not go to sleep without being completely nuzzled in next to another human body. He buries his face, wraps his arms around you, and usually hangs on tight with his hands. This is so much fun but also very, very bad when you want him to sleep in his crib and he doesn't want to be alone. We're working on it...
