I have a cooking buddy!!
Max and I made sugar cookies the other day for some of Davey's home teaching families... he loved every taste he got and when I tried to stick the beaters and rubber scrapers in the sink he quickly picked them up and devoured whatever was stuck to them.
I know his main focus was eating delicious sweets but i think he really understood that this was how to make food-- he watched me pour everything in the bowl and stir it up, and got very excited about it all.

Those cookies look so delicious. Max looks like a little boy in these pictures. What happened to him being a baby! I can't believe it
Cuteness, I love the picture where he's got his mouth wide open to devour the goodness. The sugar cookie looks picture perfect too.
